That's the FBL100 tail. Can be had from HK for a few $.

I'm using that on mine and it's perfectly fine. Once I have the time will check it with the 14000kv motor from HK too and see if it holds.

Mine is 38gm, 42gm with stock battey and 44gm with 350mah battery. This is with the Coreless motor which is over 2gm lighter than the stock motor.
The SuperCP is 42gm with stock battery.

Mine is 35.5g with a coreless motor. Also I've removed the temperature sensor which I think it is useless and I've installed some tape on the canopy to reinforce it.
With stock battery it weighs 43.5g.
Mine Walkera and nanotech batteries weigh almost 8g.

Thanks for the heads up, that's even cheaper than chinesejade, good call.

Anything else you can think off that can interfere with the flight time?
I got 10 new nano-tech 300mah batteries off HK today. Charged them in my Swallow EQ and gave it a test flight with the Genius motor.

Went to over 5 minutes run time which is impressive. At the end of it all, plugged the lipo into the cell meter and it still indicate 3.9v. This is the original voltage the battery came with before i charged it

...if you take the time
Are you using telemetry? How low did you run them?

@Quacka:
At what head speed did you run?
Would be interesting how much mAH you could again charge into the battery after the run.

Telemetry does not affect flight times.

Asked that to undestand how low he ran the battery. Let me rephrase -
Have you set a elemetry alarm? or are you running until it won't lift anymore...

I run Deviantx on my devo8s and turned my teleoff in the ini file. I just got a devo6 with the stock firmware. might try this to see if there is a diff.

No idea how to checkw hat head speed I am running. Can you show me?

Do you have to swap the wires in the plug on that one to fit the mini. It looks the the plus and minus are on opposite sides.

Yes I do. Its quick as you just use a small head device such as a philips screw driver and press in the hole and it pops out.

Wow, had recently bought another heli from RC711 (intended to be upgraded with a HK 14000kv motor). Today was the first day to fly the little thing (before it was all bad weather...).
Put that thing in the air, but it somehow lacked power, then after about 30 seconds, there was smoke coming out of the canopy. As i saw in there from the side, I saw that something was glowing red hot just in front of the servos.
Then it dropped to the ground.

First I thought there was a short at some servo-leads. But boy was I wrong. It was the servo itself. One servo PCB got so red glowing hot, that it melted a hole into the plastic encasing...WOW...
Anyone of you ever experienced this?
The funny thing is, that 'til the end the servo was still working...LOL
