I probably won't be able to resist strapping a keychain cam to the 120SR at some point.... but a big Chinook rules the skies

I have one. Strong flier, smaller than the Helizone Thunderbird. It comes with both canopies!
Pics? ...not here.

KB, Did you buy one or were you given one? I haven't seen them on market, yet. I wonder if it will have replacement parts support like the S107G.

I used to enjoy your pics here. I could tell that something happened, but I missed what happened?!?!

People got a'whizzy over my copyright bugs. Pics on my blog.

I got mine from Hobby-Estore, they're now available.

Seriously? You took the pics and you cannot copyright your own pics? You mean to tell me that people got upset because they could steal "re-use" your pics? And moving them to your blogs makes them happy. Ay-ya-ya. That must be a lot of work for you to move all those pics. They were great, BTW.

I spent a hundred dollars each month on advertising with RCG to get them off me. A good part of that time, I was actually banned here. In the end, watching others go un-whacked got me to bail on most of my activity.

No worry. Back on topic. This is a very fun to fly copter, and SO powerful.
controls are half-way from "3 channel" to "real": the right stick still controls steering, the left stick now also slides the copter sideways.

Huh... what mode is that? I'm not sure I could wrap my brain around that so easily....

Wait, hold on, I already asked that question once. The Symas are Mode 4, aren't they?

Hobby-estore...S800G $34.99 + $153 for UK shipping =

I'll wait till they are more readily available...

How about a video of your S800G flying...please.

Thanks for posting that link to the that's tempting.

I don't do flying vids much, but everybody else will...these are shipping.

Best I can say is it flies unremarkably; it is stable, and does well in the air.
That being said, it is entirely apart at the moment.

Syma's New S800G is a very logical step up for an S107 lover.

@Roboheli and Helipad,

Yes, that is mode 4. The only difference from the standard 3 channel is that the left stick has aileron control in addition to throttle.

One adjustment on the tx: L/R nose, that's it. Zero other adjustments. HOW?!?!?!

Answer: tell-tale test points on the PCB show something was attached/removed at final. The flux's still there.

I think it says, VCC, GND, and I couldn't make out the 3nd one. Is that where the IR receiver is soldered to the PCB?

So, if there is no other trims on the Tx, then every fine tuning has to be done mechanically using the servo rods - not good.
