7.25" outrigger

first micro boat test.found a 15mm duct fan made for me..looked like a perfect boat prop. Would like to thank him if I could remember his name. not sure what he would think of it used under water.
first test single cell, motor from mcp heli. dropped it in the tub and shot out the other end...out.. was inpressed enough to build nicer boat.
all 1/64 ply.
will float much larger gear..
wishing for warmer weather to be back outside to try..
and also wishing to find more time to answer all e-mails..sorry to all
hope all had great holidays..Bill Lowe

I was just looking at the Ghost Bipes when I stumbled onto this. And an even bigger surprise is that rotor you are using for a prop.

That rigger looks sweet too! Don't forget to post a video.

only a rudder and a warm day needed.
props would not surface run.. but would love to try some others.

if there would be any interest in anyone wanting a test hull..(un tested)
i'll cut a bunch and send out for cost only. maybe 7 or 8 bucks
laser cut ply only..

now to sanding a foil in the carbon rudder

lost my last prop..sooo..1st try was great. 2nd even better, 3rd hull a little wider and rounder. in the tub blowing on it would make a wake. very cool
1/64 ply planked with 1/32 balsa..i have a kids pool in garage..maybe to the basment for races

This was my awareness project for the forum. I used a stern mounted pulley for the sail.

Very cool Bill! I got the parts last night. I was needing a nice diversion from planes! I will check with John to see if there's any props at the shop we could try out.

Wow Bill! Those sailboats are awesome! I'm getting started on my powerboat tonight. The gear/motor is still up in the air.
