+1 on not using Fermin
I love the lift but hate the cliff.

We had discussed a modified class and thought it would be best to stay with a stock class at this time. I'm always open to it though.

I would hope that some folks will use this as a stepping stone into the existing race series, and I hope the existing racers will participate in this one too so we can all learn and all have fun!

Pick a date and I'll let you know. You'll force me to buy a Speedo anyway, you know you will......

Okay, Wayne, I'm headed to the AMA Expo this weekend, so I'd better have a shopping list... What do I need to finish the kit? Servos, etc...

Thanks!

This is what I have been outfitting them with:
elevator servo:

Aileron servos (2):

Battery:

and a couple of extensions for the aileron servos. Some sort of compact switch. (I usually wire my own micro switch up, but others just plug in the battery.)

Wow, this is awesome! $100 racing league. Not even foam planes are cheaper once you add in the tape glue and covering!

Wow, Bruno is right. With your deals on the electronics, this plane is dirt cheap! This could be shaping up to be a pile of fun!

sorry if this is repetitive.............but
with a lawn dartable fuse and a fragile leading edge
will you ever be able to get replacement wings from r2?
with so many speedos out there would an efficient builder
be able to make a few coins offering sheeted wings with bass le's?

i have a speedo but not a stock wing.....

I would think if you posted a sheeted set of Speedo wings in the classified section, they would not last long.

I'm willing to sell stock wings and fuses individually (separating kits). I'm also working on the supplier to sell them to me individually.

We will also have CNC cut foam cores available using the RG15 and other airfoils. We are also looking into baby ballast tubes. Because it is nice to have options.

Going to attend the AMA Expo today in Ontario. I'll bring some Speedos with me if anyone wants to try one on. Give me a call to arrange a meet up, my number is on the web site.

How about that HN-1038 on the Genesis?

I also like the idea of factory ballast tubes, but I should probably learn to roll my own, anyway...
