New Steam Launch build from scratch

Hello,
i like to show you my new build steam launch. The boat was for the first time in the water today(due to the weather it was our bathtube)
I build the boat entire from scratch. It is 2mm pinewood on 4mm ply frames sealed with epoxy. It is about 75cm long.
I have also build the complete steam plant to my own design. It is a single cylinder oszi with 10mm bore and 15mm stroke. It is made from brass and steel. Piston is equipped with a teflon piston ring also to my own design. The boiler is a small pot boiler with 3 watertubes all silver soldered. It is very good insulated with wood and 4mm cork. Firing is with "Brennpaste" for Fondue similar to the new Regner Boilers. Running time today was approx.13 min than the fuel was empty and little water was left in the boiler. The engine runs like a dream and I can`t wait to test the boat on the lake.
The boat isn`t complete as you can see but I hope I will have it ready for the new season. The only comercial items I have used are the safty valve from Wilesco, andthe propshaft and prop from Graupner.

Sorry for my english.

Andreas

Some more pictures

Thanks for the warm welcome! Here are some more pictures of the steam engine. At the last picture you can see a smaller V-Twin Version of my oszi. It is also double acting but with only 8mm bore and 12mm stroke. It is also a good runner.I will build a vertical boiler for it some day but at the moment I have to many projects on the start so I first have to finish a few before starting a new one.
All my engines are build from bar stock and scrap pieces. The cylinders are normaly made from brass or gunmetall depending on what is to hand.Pistons are also made from brass. If you like to see more pictures from my other steam stuff I can post some pictures if you like.

My steam stuff

Here are some pictures of my other steam stuff. I hope it is OK that there are also a stationary engine and a Steam Loco. The last engine is a full size engine wich I have currently under construction. It is 2"x2" engine with a stuart No.1 cylinder build to a modified plan from the Netherlands.
The mill engine is 16,5mm bore and 25,4mm stroke from aheavy modified plan from the Net. It is also equipped with teflon piston ring.
The Loco is build to the Dacre plans from the Netherlands.
The V2 Oszi is my own design. It is a good runner but I have to rework the boiler.
So you can see why I don`t want to start another projekt at the moment. It is enough work for another year or two, or...
