Whats a good motor for this on 6 cell? I cant get hold of motorfly in the uk.

My emax 620kv finally died when I decided to go flat out for 5 minutes. I am tempted to buy another of the same but sometimes I can't help giving it full throttle and I like the 15" prop for 3d.

I'm using the Torque 4016T/500 MKII and really like it. You can power it from either 5S or 6S just by swapping the prop. I.e. use a 16" prop for 5S, and a 15" prop for 6S. More info here:

I can help you get a Motrolfly motor as I have done for other people. Basically, you PayPal me the money, I buy the motor, have it shipped to me, I then ship it to you. It does cost a little more due to the fact you have to pay for shipping twice, but the shipping to me is not that expensive..

The 4s setup is great, no need for 6s IMO.

Do you think the hacker a40-10l would work?

http://www.westlondonmodels.com/prod...er-A40-10L-V2/

There seems to be a lot of ambiguity regarding the size and weight of this motor which make me a little uneasy!

I was thinking of getting into my first 58" class plane.

I have lots of 3s2200 3d planes, so I'm tempted to go with a motrofly 4315 6s motor. Would it be smarter to go 4s?

I have a spare castle Ice 50. The 6s motrofly setup draws 50-55 A. I've pushed the old Phoenix 25 adn 35A esc's well beyond their capacity with no issues doing 3D for years. Any known differences in the Ice line up that woudl drive me to buy a new 75A vs using my existing 50A?

I'm used to using HS-65MG on the 4' planes. Will HS-225MG feel about the same or would they feel slower?

Thanks for the input and helping me get into the next class of airframe.
