May I hold the spot of for heavy lift for a little while or do we have to beat 2011's record?
I also think there should be different categories of heavy lift, such as heavy tri, heavy quad, heavy hex and heavy octo. I think that makes more sense in a "Mr. Lifter" thread than aerobatics or artistic concepts since those are subjective and can not be measured.

You are probably right, in a newbee in the multicopterscene an very unexperienced. But I love this forum especially because I can learn from you experts. So what is you bet in the "longest distance", you might also tell us something about efficient flying and efficient powertrains. I´d love to learn.
I am in for the heavy lifter controlled flight:
payload : 4775gr (three bottles of water a little more that 1500gr each)
Payload incl. battery 5626 gr
copter weight 1658gr
overall takeoff weight: 7284 gr
Motors 700KV 190gr
Props Graupner E-Prop 14x8
Escs red brick 50A
FC; KK Blackboard SW 4.7
So if this was a controlled flight, you have to judge, I did once change the gains, but I had to choose to land and change further, or to go for the 2 minutes. I choose the second, and at the end (of the batteries) I did a climb and decend, but honestly then the batteries where over.
I am currently cutting the video and prepare for the upload. I am a little excited about this, since I was not sure that is would work, but now I think, there is a little more possible (more batteries, more payload), the limit today were the batteries.
P.S.: I furthermore would suggest to compare "net. payload", since in my eyes, batteries are part of the "lifting system" but I am also happy with the current rules.
