Your question will get a better response in the video piloting forum.

Wow! Tell us what you believe to be the advantages other than, "fewer people are using it"

Range is over 40 miles, no issues with carbon, metal, water, etc. Not completely line of sight.

You going to make a Plantraco compatible mode?

will you have it at Toledo?

Where will this system be legal?

No Plantraco compatibility. They use the rfPIC which is nowhere near as robust as what we are using. The data rate is also way too slow (20Kbps max). Our system is 250Kbps, just like our 2.4GHz system.

We have been showing this system at various trade shows. It will be legal in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

Any updates on 900mhz?

I heard that Castle Creations, manufacturers of the near bullet proof Bergs, have been unaffected by 2.4. Sales of Bergs going strong. They said long ago, that 900mhz was the way to go and predicted all the 2.4 issues we are now seeing.

No update we can talk about yet for 900MHz. The only "issues" really with 2.4GHz have been input power related. This will be no different for 900MHz, but the 900MHz hardware runs on 1.8v, just like our new 2.4GHz receivers. So, power is becoming less of an issue.

The claimed advantages of 900Mhz - less fading in carbon fuselages and from a moist ground is what perks my interest.

No idea when it will be available. It's a big focus for our UAV projects, but that is a different caliber and price range from the RC hobby industry.
