I have posted this model here before, but just shot a parkflying vid last weekend. The model is the X-8 bashed into a Luft '46 sort of thing that Blohm und Voss may have come up with if they had had enough time

B&V 219.01 (2 min 30 sec)

Very nice,
is it a kit? Do you have a construction plan or scheme?
Regards,
Miguel.

Thanks Miguel.

The model is based on the Skywalker X-8 which is available from a number of outlets Ebay, Banggood etc and FPV model shops. Here's a random Ebay listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SkyWalker-21...0AAOSw~OdVcU8j

The model with the winglets added is pretty big at 2.8m - launches are entertaining

Here's a copy of the instruction manual: https://hobbyking.com/media/file/861455834X7478X59.pdf

There is a thread here on RCG: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...43-New-X8-WING

I obtained most of the components for the build from HobbyKing. Just send me a PM if you have any specific queries.

Same spot, same day, different plank.

Kent asked if the Amokka video is speeded up, here is something to compare.
Amokka ist a moulded built, the Strong Run Speed is wood skin foam wing with my airfoils, a little more span and a bigger fuselage, video is also not speeded up

Strong Run Speed, Hangflug Hoamalm (3 min 43 sec)

Beautiful place and very good model. I also have some doubts about video speed. Can you confirm that the original footage frame-rate is THE SAME of the editing software???

i.e. if you shoot at 25 FPS and the FInal Cut Pro (or Adobe Premiere) timeline is set at 29,95FPS……….the video looks speeded-up……

Bye!
