Hi,

cmpang mentioned some postings before that all aux values are I terms.
So the height lock should work as show in the added graphic.

Nice if some guys could confirm that the function of the carefree graphic
is right.

that should be your first top 3 sliders. Start with the top one. I had to move mine down some. I think case my quad is a 525 and heavy. Thus it can't handle that much gain with the momentum.

Thanx I thought that it would be the middle 3 sliders ,but I'll give the top 3 a try. My hex is really heavy about 4.5 pounds with one battery

How windy is to windy

I've flown my hex on days with wind gust up to 30 mph and it was a real challenge and you have to be on your toes because things can change very quickly. My quad I feel that 10 to 15mph is about the most I'd want to do

Puzzled by esc calibration. This would normaly be done by by taking a reading of the throttle stick at high and low, but with the rabbit it's done with the tx switched off. Anybody explain ?.

Because in this case, the only throttle signals the speed controls see, are generated by the Rabbit.

Rabbit and Mediatek GPS - GPS /Altitude Hold

I started to play again with the Rabbit, i'm not very happy with the results I had obtained earlier.
I think I have achieved good results in the "position / altitude hold" using the Mediatek GPS.
Unfortunately, he feels the lack of dedicated PID to stabilize the corrections in gps hold, I hope the team will soon implement a separate PID for this function, already implemented in ArduCopter with good results, with an interface that is more pleasant and intuitive.
The modifiable parameters are now far too few, and this allows a good tuning depending on your configuration.
Furthermore it is necessary a section for save the parameters that stores also the level and the compass calibration.
Here a short video of my tests, after a good PID tuning.

Bests,

Please tell me, if original Rabbit GPS works with a refresh rate of 5Hz, but I use MediaTec GPS and set refresh rate to 10Hz - this will result to a buffer overflow Rabbit serial port?

*cough*. multiwii works with 10hz GPS without problems. seeing how the same code is stolen, there is no reason for it not to work with 10hz.
