Man you two racing or summit. Nice work both.

Keep on telling me mate who owns the Hobby shop where my Porter lives at present to shoo anyone away from the box and tell them its a terrible plane till I can afford to go get it. :0).

Have to see if I can find those WILGA PIC's

The Graphics look superb and the Step a nice touch.

Hi Perry, guys, I added an 1/8" ply back plate behind the firewall. This is the XX large standoff kit from Tower. Nice kit and worked well. Thats it for tonite, tomorrow evening I'll install the esc on the firewall.

Subscribed, reading, learning, cloning. Great thread. Helped me decide to pull the trigger and PayPal TBM and others. My meager stimulus injection to keep the hobby industry rolling. Thanks Rudderman98.

Got the step for the starboard side completed and both steps painted tonight.

The starboard step was made with piano wire, a small piece of aluminum sheet, silver solder, and the corrugated panel was a piece of my old patio door blinds. I knew these blinds would handycome in someday.

Very nice detail and I like the graphics. You have sold me on this plane. Going to finish up a house project and order one in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for sharing your build.

Cool thread. Cool plane. Will you use it to aerotow? Depending on how good a tug it is, I'll think about ordering one.

Wonderful. I was surprised that this particular registration was chosen by the kit designer.

I have a few photos of the full size TC-ECY, which I had taken when it was parked at the airfield we used to fly models from - the field is no longer open to us. See below:

If I had taken photos of the TC-ECZ that would be a real coincidence - I don't know if it was around then..

I don't know if the photos would be of use if I had seen this thread earlier.

Good luck on the maiden.

Thanks Sluf and thanks Harry.

It's a great looking plane and adding the details makes it "POP"! I've added some rivet details to the landing legs. I'll take this opportunity to a few more details while I wait for the wing bolts to arrive from TBM.

Bulent,

Great pictures and thank you for sharing them. It's getting very close to the maiden now. All wiring is installed along with all electronics.

Hello Mario,

I don't know for sure if I'll aerotow with this one just yet. Some flight testing is in order to be sure. If you look at some of the pics I have posted, the inside of the fuselage is primarily made up of lite ply. I modified my Senior Telemaster as a tug and it's interior was more sparse as the Wilga so I think it is certainly doable.

I'd have to do some strengthening and modifications for aerotowing thats for sure. I'll evaluate the possibilities later duirng the year.
