Cognitive dissonance

This is not nearly as old as many of the beautiful designs already shown here, but it is the oldest I have. The 'Apparition" from a little free flight plan book, copyright 1962.

This place has a lot of older plans with a few wings scattered amoungst them.

http://www.outerzone.co.uk/

However the PDF that I've gotten were SECURED and not even readable by some of my
older pdf tools or readers.
I did manage to use Adobe X to tile a printout.

What I wanted was to extract the Image to Jpg file type.

Your mileage may vary,

Nice one Kevin. I could see this one at 2.5m. Constructed with foam and balsa skins. Very Pterosaur-ish.

I like the Kling.

It alludes to some washout at the tips but
Just r23 & 24 I think !?!?
I'm Assuming a non linear taper.
Straight until 22 then twist the tips.
Or I missed something.

Could that mean pack up the trailing edge (13/16?)at that rib?Would the foil change also add some washout effect?

Yes I saw that marking on the plans.

Washout is the effect IMHO

But I was just surprised at the last couple of ribs limitation.

Love the big ERWA 8. It has real old world charm. Great build log and photos too. Those are wild control surfaces.

Thanks for posting in English ( don't tell anyone, but it is not a requirement )
