Like alxlab said, the TX and battery are fine. However, if you are buying a 120 SR to improve your skills, the MQx is way past it in performance. The 120SR will be pretty tame.

Thank you guys for the input. I guess I got to wait for a bigger Blade quatro if it is ever coming...

Off my horse
Why do they have a "retail price" of 180 but a "selling price" of 140?

nobody buys @ suggested retail price, and the consumer feels good when pays the discounted selling price (nice marketing trick) plus the dealers have a room to play with...for their margins.

Aside from the different batteries - if you're good with the mQX, the mSR X will likely get boring in a hurry. The mCP X would be a good step up after mastering the mQX. But it also uses different batteries than the mQX.

I have a Champ and MCX-2. Does the MQX use the same batteries as those as far as the connector goes? I already have a Celectra charger I'd like to use.

It uses a JST connector but it comes with an adapter to fit the Celectra. The BNF version comes with a new single battery charger anyway.

Is it one of those batteries to charge battery things again? Would it use the 120V adapter from the Celectra?
In many cases, two bladed props on quads are replaced with 3 bladed ones. Has anybody tried this on this quad?
FWIW, Helifreak has 17 pages of mod chatter on this quad. A lot of it is canopy stuff, but a definite interest in brushless too.
