one of the large gears on mine was slipping off of the shaft once so that caused that particular motor to take a little longer to reach speed because it had to spin then lift then engage with the smaller gear before it caught up with the other blades. Check your gears...

Thanks Jake,
I might want to try those too. I wonder if the higher capacity and discharge rate would make a difference over the ones that I just ordered...
Are nanotecs only available from the other side of the ocean?

Nano-Techs are Hobby King's inhouse brand. However you can find them on Ebay as well. With a markup of course.

That is what I thought... I just wondered if they were sold anywhere else that I wasn't aware of.
THanks

Has anyone tried these props on their mqx? They have been using them on the 929 I guess. I wouldn't mind trying them when I need to order some props...

Hey, I have to tell you guys every time a company impresses me with product support I feel like it is my duty to thank them on the forums so you all can see.
No matter what I do with my throttle trim I still am unable to bind sometimes. I just got done plugging, and unplugging my battery to try to make a connection 9 times and I simply couldn't not bind.
I called and told HH. The guy said that he would ship me a new board out on Monday and he simply said to throw away the defective one. Great support from Horizon Hobby every time!.

Hey guy's,

Just checking to see if this quad is worth buying as I am very interested in it, my main concern is the motors how are they holding up?
The look like the tail motors from my SR120 and the do fail.....

Thank you

Ok, so if it's happening on both, then 99.9% must be the mQx board.

Try this.....plug in the battery....wait for blue lite to flash....

Stand back about 2 feet from the MQX.

Turn on the transmitter (either one), holding the binding switch towards you.

Let go of the trainter(bind) switch and move the rudder stick to the left immediatley and hold it to the left until the MQX binds.

Then, unplug the MQX and then shut off the transmitter.

Now turn on the Transmitter and then the MQX and see if it works!!!
