RE: Deoxit...
Tip: Grab the 4 pack sampler. There's a lot in there given the amount you need to use. Perfect for our needs. It's 100%, not the 4% aerosol cans you see for sale for $15. http://www.amazon.com/Squeeze-Tube-K...eywords=deoxit The RED cleaner and rejuvenator is what you'll need and what people refer to as "Deoxit". That's really step 1. Step 2: The Gold (Contact Enhancer, Conditioner and Protetor) is the follow up step for gold type contacts. Step 2: The Green Fader Lube (Enhancer and lubricator) is the followup for faders. Like the servo contact strips Blade like to use in their servos. The blue shield is a protector for the harsher climates. |

Now that I already ordered my v929 motors, I am thinking that by the time I solder the new connectors on, the money savings it gone, plus the plugs are tiny and soldering will be difficult. As a father of 2 who works 55 hours a week, my free time is limited. So tell me, where can I get the cheapest motorsand should I replace all or just the offending one?

If you get a bnf v929, you can use skids, gears, mainshaft, props, motors.
New blog post up on how to use v929 motor on your mQX. Hope it helps. |

If you haven't got a turnegy radio to bind the v929 with and you are just thinking of using the parts, get the RTF version, and simply fly that , cause as it is, it is a great little flier.. then use it for spares when you finally break something on it...
Thats what I am doing... bashing the 929, and saving my MQX for when I get competent |

Ordered the 929 "beetle" canopy and a few orange blades. I'm finding it hard to see this thing at FFF. Hope it's interchangeable

WOW! That's some skills with this little quad. Can't wait to get mine flying again....
I think I need to finally bind it to my DX6i once I get it fixed because it seems that everyone agrees that control is better than with the stock controller. I can use the stocker with any number of cheap flyers for my son in the near future, although he really needs DR. I guess it's worth keeping for travel since it only takes a sec to bind and rebind. Gotta love this technology! |

After much experimenting I can confidently say that the DX6i is a big improvement over the stock controller for flying the mQX. |
