Scratch build: 45" Junkers JU-87 "Stuka"

Hi everybody,
I started to build the Junkers Ju-87 Stuka from Zdenek Raska plans.
I've enlarged the plans to 45" and I'll make some deviation from the plan.
Here some photos, this is what has been built so far.

I agree, it does look great!
Have you picked out a paint scheme yet?

I'm not sure what I will choose, but I like the snake motif, difficult but spectacular.

I had considered that scheme for my micro Stuka.
I was going to do a serpent decal but decided it was too much trouble.

Hasegawa makes a 1/48 plastic kit. I had this kit, in the 80's. And used the decals for enlargement for the Guillows. A very expensive thing to do, back then. But Callie graphics should do it nicely from a scan.

tochiro,
Fantastic looking so far. The fuselage came out so nice, and the wings are looking good too.
Congrats. I can't wait to see your finished product.

I'll only echo what others are saying, a lovely, clean build and you're really capturing the character of the real thing. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful leaves. But why do ordinary ailerons and does not hang like a prototype?
