Hobbyking Quadcopter control board V2.1 for $12.34

Just to be strait this is my buddy code. After I placed my order for 3 at what I thought was a steal I checked the code and it came up as $12.34. Needless to say I was shocked. This id the first time I have ever checked it because I am used to it being 10% or so. if me posting this is bad form I apologize but I wish some one would have done so before I purchased my 3.

Oh wow, 19.95. HK has truly killed off all KK board knockoffs

it's not a bad KK board either. All the flying in this video was done with a V1 HK board:

Ya, absolutely. But it's pretty hard to fail making a kkboard. And at this price point you can just buy them and crash them and throw them away.

gundamnitpete your flying and editing skills are out of this world i always enjoy your stuff. i was flying multiwii boards but they were costing me $50-$70 to build and i dont see much differance with the HK boards. this is me flying my new mini tricopter.
mini tricopter flips rolls high speed than a smack (3 min 40 sec)

i love mine, it's flashed to airplane mode and works as three axis stabilization on one of my FPV planes.

I was thinking of using one to make a steady mount for a cam

i use a baseball cap with a 1/4 20 plastic screw drilled through it with a gopro tripod mount. its just slightly less geek.

hey all,

I have this same board ready to install in my home made quad.

Does it require the firmware upgrade referred to in the instructions or is it good to go out of the box?

I am not very good with these sorts of computer issues and would rather not attempt to upgrade in case I corrupt the board,

Hey all,

I have the HK board up and running on a home made frame.

So far it appears to be very unstable, I have tried different gain settings but it is difficult to hover without building up occilations that are difficult to damp out.

Is there any trick to this? The gaui 330x seemed much more stable (but totally unreliable)

Thanks in advance
