not sure what that means, but if I had to take a guess...

Either your using the wrong cell lipo , your esc throttle isn't calibrated, or you need to adjust your throttle trim tabs till the esc engages then calibrate throttle.

All brushless motor electric models 'beep'. It is a normal ESC startup sequence.
Even the real Su beeps.....

Yes true they all beep, but beeping is an indication of a certain or specific sequence ie. Startup sequence, program mode, receiver & radio not binding, wrong cell# etc. So Gold needs to clarify what he is doing when it beeps.

I dont think he is saying his is beeping. I believe it was a question in response to PeterVRC saying esc's needed to be connected to motors because the motors do the beeping.

And his Su is probably not in a 'beepable' state yet either. hehe
(Is AZ a beepable state?)

You are a "go" for reentry

Gold, don't you normally hear the beep beep beeeee BEEP, when you start your quads. It should be very loud with four of them going off exposed.
You can program some ESC's to start silent but ESC default to a power up state and warnings announcement through the motors pulsed turn, once the ESC and Motor are powered up.
When you are programming the ESC the beeps you hear telling you the programming point as well as confirmation of selections.... the sound is produced from the motor being pulsed.

Some get carried away with this and play entire music pieces with the use of several motors and control board.

Thanks for the advice! I will consider it!

I keep asking myself the same. I think it might have to do with bad soldering (High temperature damaging ESC / BEC electronics).

No, If I had to buy CC for every aircraft I have I'd as soon quit the hobby, don't have so much money. Though I agree this time I'm suffering the effects of a too much cheap election. I don't tend to have any kind of trouble with cheap stuff.
Will go to hobbywing Dlux or Redbrick next time.

Cheers!

Power Sys fault

Ok pilots, I tested my 4s set up in my Su35 with a Watts Up meter-- I fried the meter--it started smoking, maybe because its 14AWG and entire plane is 10AWG, anyway I tested again w/o, both times at around 1:40 I was at about 70% throttle and a few short burst at 90% the following happens as you'll see in vid- v were above 15 so I'm at a loss, ESCs, ARC motors?

ESCs: Cyclone 110A, Motors: ARC 28-58-1s, EDFs: CS12B 70mm fans, BATTS: CNHL 14.8 4s 50c 100c burst LiPos in parallel

Any ideas guys????

EDF (0 min 55 sec)

If that isn't the issue, I suspect your ESC can't handle the amount of RPM that the motor is trying to turn at. If the pulsing sound is not what you were trying to get at, then disregard my message.

On second thought, there could be an ESC timing advance and/or PWM setting issue as well.
