Here is a fun plane that will put you guy's skills to the test. It is easy to fly but which side is up?
The new FancyFoam FlipFlop! (2 min 58 sec)

flipflop outside (8 min 29 sec)

Here is a link to the Fancyfoam page.

Love this plane! It is a ton of fun, just something different. The video just doesn't do it justice, driving it around on it's side full throttle and cranking it is a blast. Nice design Tim!

This reminds me of a mashup of a PBF, a ComBat, and a Crazy Ball.

Looks like a blast. I like the "Star Wars" look that this plane has.

This thing is a blast to fly, and it looks like Mike has done it again kitting that thing so quickly. Good job Mike and Tim. I'm ready to have my own.

I got to shoot some video out side. It slides fine on the rough asphalt on my street. The thick grass on my front yard gave it difficulty but it should do fine on short grass. As you can tell I was having a blast!
If it does not work it is still processing and will work shortly.

I like it!Combat plane for indoors or front yard fun.It even hovers and does 3D moves.Great work!

We use a different version of the FPB for combat,we go for the plane or sometimes use a streamer, but the flip-flop looks safe enough for indoor combat.

Are you using your normal set-up?The 1500Kv motor,8 by 4.3 on 2S or 3S and 3-HXT 900's is what's on store site.Not 1-900 and 2-500's???

What kind of AUW are you getting on 2S and 3S?

The version 4 Turnigy 12amp is working fine.but your out of stock.Does the HiModel 12amp have a BEC of 2amps also?

I want to order an outdoor Yak 32" and a flip-flop but I thought I'd ask about the 3-900's and if the Hi-Model 12amp has a 2amp BEC before I order.

2A on the bec.
I run 3 9gr as this one will get bounced allot more and the gears are stronger so less likely to strip.
Weight with out battery is 6oz.
If you want to combat it you can add a carbon tube across the front.

Thought that I would show you guys what the most common break on the Flip Flop is. As you may guess it is the side hoops. Yes we could add more support but that typically just moves the break point. There is a good change that someone will come up with a good mod but in the mean time it is an easy fix and currently all four hoops have the same type of split in it and it makes no difference. I will repair them only if they start to tear away from the skid.

Mike,

One fix would be to glue the same type of plastic strips to the inside of the hoop, opposite to the plastic strips on the outside of the hoops.
