The exhaust trousers came out perfect! I am having trouble getting the intake off because of the tabs that I built in for then front of the intake.

An early Christmas present came in the mail today thanks to BIM! The shapeways stator assemblies turned out great. I am also getting close to making a new shroud so the new fan will come alive soon.

I figured out how to get the carbon tubes off the aluminum. I tried coating the stators with epoxy and it worked well and stiffened up the plastic a lot with little weight. Now I need to assemble and try these fans.

I was going to say "soak the stators in epoxy" but you're there.

I just finished the shrouds and turned out great, thanks again BIM. Everything is solid for higher power levels. The mount locations of the stators were scribed with a razor and then lightIy sanded. I then glued everything together with CA and one of those super skinny capillary tubes.

I finished the rotor molds. I will use resin infusion to keep any air out of the rotor.

Danj31,

You are in a class all your own. Don't know if you already had the skills when you started this project, but this has been a Toure De Force!!!

I just coated the rotor molds with a layer of PVA. After it dries I will add the carbon and then infuse with resin.
