Looking for RC flyers in Nashville area
I have an Electric I fly around. Looking to get more Electric but would love to have some friends to fly with and to get advice. I'm in Mt Juliet. I hear there is a field in Hendersonville. I fly some in Nashville at the Dam. I have a Hawk Sky now and looking to get the new Dynam Sbach.
Dunno if this info is a bit late for you or not as this post is close to a month old, but there are several nice fields in the Nashville area.
Hendersonville is a good club, I have flown there a couple of times (its a bit of a drive for me as im on the east side of town) Only problem you may have there is they have a grass runway, so if your flying smaller electrics you may or may not have issues getting off the ground.
Judging from your profile location, Peeler Park is probably closer to you.
Some other options include:
Middlepoint (the club I fly at, but the probably the furthest 'nashville' club from you)
Edwin-Warner Field (Electric only, fairly restrictive about when you can fly)
Hope this info helps if you have not already located a place to fly and some good guys to fly with.
