I don't know if you saw this. Not plans, but FRP hulls available.

They don't have the Wampum, but do have several others. I built the Cheerio from their plans.

Vintage Marblehead plan -Pocohontas by W.J. Daniels 1936

Hi John

Not Wumpum but Pocohontas !! Must be nearly the same?

I have the plan and building instructions for the above vintage Marblehead from 1936 design by W.J.Daniels.

Also available from www.trapletshop.com/plans.

Listed as MAR 2489

call 217 355 2970 from USA.

If you let me have your P.O.Box number or address I will send the original plan to you to have a look at and if suitable, build from, and you then you can send it back.

Regards and Happy New Year ! !

Can anyone see much difference between the Wampum and the vintage Madcap? Anyone have high resolution lines for either?

Thanks!

There were two Wampums (Wampi?) by Potter, Wampum (1932) and Wampum II (1933). See attached. Which one are you interested in?

Earl

Wow! Thanks for such a quick response Earl. If you have a relatively high-resolution file for the Wampum II, I'd appreciate getting it. Or if you have decent sized paper plans, then that would be fine.

Looks like pretty subtle differences, but due to the better rudder area, I think I'd be more interested in the Wampum II.

Thanks again,

Steve

Wonderful! Thanks again Earl. If I get around to doing another resurrection of a VM, I may just do this one. Really nice lines. Looks very similar to the Madcap too, doesn't it.

As I complete the Sun Wind (High-Flyer from around 1949), I may make the laser cut frames files available. So far, the boat is turning out really well. Let me know if there's any interest from the VMYG for those files.

Earl:

I would love to add those vintage design to AllRadioSailboats. I've added these two James Potter designs here: http://www.allradiosailboats.com/designer/jamesPotter

Do you have more material/photos for them?

Or any other missing vintage designs?

Thanks
