Heck, just a fuse and templates would suffice as it would save on shipping. I have all of the powerplant/retracts/servos that I could remove for the ViperJet.
It would give me an excuse to get my hot wire bow off the wall and finally rehab out 60" long vacuum machine. Even though it would only be a tiny, tiny canopy compared to the size of the machine, its the motivation factor at work here!

LOl, you guys are killing me...
CN, not sure if your canopy would have fit since it is limited in depth. It is homemade, but the guy that built it was pretty smart. Its got a vacuum pump with a large resevoir so that you get instant vacuum. Set your temp, charge the vacuum, when the plastic gets right, pull the handle and it all comes together. Dang things runs on 220 volt!
He used it for making 'stuffed' fish, ABS plastic, for wall hanging.

crap, i bet that would work! its worth putting my plug back to 1 piece to try i think! its not that deep really. and with that much overhang, it might just work.

what is the total height? I will do some measuring. If I remember, the table portion is 12-14 inches wide.

Hey thanks for the great video Hans, Awesome!!

I just took the power system out of the T-38 and put it into a 90" long Foam delta wing I have been playing with. After the install I put it on the scale. With battery's AUW is 24 pounds.. .Gona fly it this weekend.

12,000 watts on a 24 pound plane should be pretty interesting. I will get some good hat cam footage of the spectical

I can't get over the sound that the thing makes! I don't know if it is the fans or just the airframe penetrating the air or some of both but that sound is so damned awesome. Man, I spend 3 years watching T-38's in the pattern at Webb AFB and that sound just brings it all back. Andy, CN, if you guys can see your way to do it, please recreate these airplanes.

Tony
