Still adding more cockpit detail..I can't stop....I say OK done....then it's oh wait i should put another hose here or a valve there...and another button over here.

I thought about it and decided to go with srew down glass instead of glue. I like the idea of If during the flying season if I damage a section of the canopy front middle or back I can replace it easly. Also if I need to get back into the cockpit area for any reason I can also do it no prob.
There are pros and cons useing screws but in the low vibration world of electrics I found no cracking issues in the past so will try it out. I used a lite ply border along the frame work for the tiny screws to go.

Well the pilot and chair are in and I added a little weathering to the back of the seat. I have to touch up the flight suit a bit and I think I will call it done.

Finnal prep before the glass goes in.
That was nice of him to supply the rejects for mockups. The cockpits are looking fantastic by the way!

Slowly gettin' there..The black border has to go on yet and a few fit and finish things to do. Another day of fiddling and I think she will be just about done.

I live within stone's throw of Cape Canaveral, and several of my club members are NASA employees and retirees. So I was leaning towards doing mine in NASA colors, but the red one that CN posted really got to me. Maybe I'll do a hybrid, one side NASA and the other CN. LOL

Is it possible to get a picture of the bottom of the aircraft. That is a bottom view I could use to scale for a build I've been getting ready for?
Thanks,
John
