Great to see Brent and Rodger again and got in a few flights as well. Getting to fly in late December is a treat for me. I hope I didn't spook the horse riders too much. Charlotte had a great time also and got a few pictures of us turnin' and burnin'. I will send them to ya this evening.

Rodger and Brent have views out their house windows that should be on post cards. Too cool!!!

Brent keep us posted on your T-38 progress.

I know you are cross-country, but is there any chance you will be attending SEFF this year? I would love to see this in person

I will be there, but traveling by airline so the plane will have to stay.

I am excited to meet you; I totally understand it would be cost prohibitive to get the jet to seff, but it surely would be a show stopper!

I was just looking at the cad drawing I have from my 65" long T-38 90mm that I built, I scaled up the drawing. You'll have allmost a 5" diameter nosewheel and 6" main wheels! The nose strut will be about 10" long. I was looking at Robart's site to see what retracts might be used (I know you have Lados). Wing thickness on my 7.1% airfoil at the main gear location is 1.6". It helps to have a plan! The robart 632's offset struts wont fit a big enough wheel. I really need to extract a pdf for you Andy...if I can get motivated!

Good to have you aboard Ed,

Yeah the struts are gona require some thought. I got the 5" and 6" wheels in the mail today from Tower..big suckers!!. Nut and I so far plan on a 1 3/4" thick wing at the root tapering down to 1/2" or less at the tip..that will leave enough room for the retracts at the main gear point.

Installing bulk heads today, and starting install of stuff needed on the point were front and rear fuselage sections will be removable for transport. Tomorrow and the rest of the week will be nose retract install and start on the gear door.
