Seen what i think is a good omen. i live 15 miles north oh Louisville Intl airport and just happen to hear some fast movers above. Two Talons outbound to the west!
Normaly when in the AO they are not this far north but something extended the out bound leg and i thought of you two on Vegas. Have fun.

Keep the faith and don't rush anything if you are tired CN after two days away for work right before Vegas. We know you "know this" but in all our cheer leading, still it's deliberate and conservative moves that pay off at this point

Super impressed guys. You both really do deserve all the praise you get.

Ok lets all start chanting 2 words VEGAS & TALONS....I feel that our combined chant will give this endeavor the added kick. Just to be on the safe side. We really want to see these 2 big babies side by side.

So Brent, if I take you up for a spin in a real plane you'll let me take your T-38 for a spin too, right??
I'll even recharge your packs!

Something to think about--how do your batteries behave when it's cold? I feel a dramatic drop in power when the batteries are cold. Very long takeoff rolls. After they warm up in the air the power comes back. Have you experienced that?

Yes, Lipos perform optimally when they are *warm* but not *hot*... ~80(F) degrees is a good starting point.

From a rc heli pilot and an aspiring rc airplane pilot all i gotta say is hot damn! I've read 2265 posts in this thread today(being layed off is very boring). Very awesome plane. I'm looking to jump in head first and build my trainer from scratch. I've got the prints(telemaster 400) now to get back to work so I can afford to build/equip a new toy.

Mister Fear
Of course, I'll be there with camera in hand

I'll send you my cell # so we can coordinate a little better, I dont want to miss the maiden flight. Takes me 30 - 45 minutes to get to the field, depending on traffic, as I live up in the NW part of town.
