Haha, thanks Wayne. I wasn't implying that I wanted to return it, just a heads up. It works fine for ailerons, if it was on flaps I might be concerned. The Fredy has pretty small surfaces anyway.

i'm really liking this....I've been away from the slopes for a bit...Hopefully Jeff can bring it one day to Kite Hill or let me know when he's headed to Shapell and I can take a closer look at it before pulling the trigger.

I'd really be interested in getting all the suggested servos and ballast tube and the works. Really looking forward to getting one and flying it at Pt. Fermin.

Wayne's (aka Rotozuk, AloftHobbies.com) throwing a ballast tube rolling party in the evening of 10/4. Why not come on by? PM him for details or drop into the OCSS thread.

Ken, Feel free to stop by the shop anytime. I'm just down the road from you. Got lots of Genesis here.

-Wayne

p.s. I currently have 2 fully built one piece wing Genesis w/o flaps, and one half built (wire harness in) flapped 1 piece in stock and ready to ship.

That's funny....only a sloper would appreciate that type of party and even know what it is. Sorry I won't be in town; sounds like a good time.

You have a nice grace to your flying. Still don't know how you fly with a cell phone in your mouth. LOL

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with how it flew. It felt a bit more nose heavy then I would prefer and inverted wasn't as hands off as I recall it was before the crash. "The Crash" happened when I pulled the wrong "up" while flying inverted at Lilly Shapell. I nosed strait in from about 20ft up and into the thick brush that covers that slope. The wing took the blow not the fuse, but due to the impact the battery lodged further up the nose then it had originally been and it's wedged in there so tight I can't get it out.

Wayne, next time we're flying together I'll show you how to juggle the correct bite vs slurp ratio to maintain a steady hold of the phone. Seriously though, I've been considering a GoPro, but haven't yet bit the bullet.

I'd like to see how you manage that Jonathan.

While you're flying the plane with the phone in your mouth, have another camera in your left hand pointed at yourself. That way we can see what you look like.
