I did mix in a little down-elevator, just a couple of degrees. It's interesting because when you hit the flaps switch you get all of your down elevator immediately, but your flaps only descend slowly (as they're supposed to) with the servo-slow installed. So you'll get a momentary down pitch when you hit the switch, but it's not a problem - just something to be aware of if you don't anticipate it.

Nah - it's not significant, or at least not to me. So I didn't bother with that.

Congrats and good luck with everything!

Mine just assambled today. Actually I bought also the replacement retract and metal trunnion, but even the trunnion fit perfectly on the original retract but can not close properly because of the stopper too big. Also I also tried put the replacement retract to the chamber but too big also, need modification at the screw holes.

So please upload the images of the retract modification ( with bigger retract replacement ) inside the front chamber and or how to modification the stopper in order to make retract can work perfectly with metal trunnion at original retract . ...

Hopely maiden fly this saturday with modification of front retract. ..

Pics for mods required for metal trunnion installation on the stock retract can be found in post #147 in this thread.

As for fitting the larger retract you need to redrill the holes in the top plate of the retract, make up some spacers, readjust steering linkages and remove some material from the retract mount. if your were unable to figure any of that out yourself i suggest you do not try the modifications required to fit the larger retract.

I got the wiring sorted. Half my battle was that the Orange rx had the sticker on the wrong way, and as a result the bind plug was in the wrong end! Also one of the triple harnesses was not working so I don't have lights at the moment.

Does anyone have any probs with the hatch not shutting properly when the battery is in? I think I will have to carve some foam to get it to shut properly.

Oh, and I ordered a MAS 10x5 3 blade prop from a LHS so I can see whether it is a match. Cost me $22 with postage for 1 prop. Ouch.......

Will the MAS fit in the original prop adapter? If not how did you mount the MAS?

Would also be interested on ways to mount a 2 blade. I cut down the original prop and use it as a spacer in the original prop adapter. Must be a better way!!!
