Well I got a box sorted, well almost sorted.

Borrowing Peter France's box he made to go over tp Auz last year. Will add some reinforcing around the edges, and some wheels at one end. May also line the inside with some foam between the wooden bracing. Photos when I get home from work.

Still need to finish fixing the D60, work on the K100 and bascially get things sorted. \

Any advice for polishing wings? K100 had alot of scratching from landings, I have taken most of it out and got down to 1800g paper, but how do I get that nice gloss from there?

Just car polish Alex. From 1800, go to the coarse "cut and polish" type polish first. Wet rub with lots of elbow grease, then buff it with a dry rag. It will look pretty good then, but a bit dull - it doesn't need any more gloss for aerodynamics but for aesthetics, if you want that glassy mirror look, get some finishing polish. If you go to an automotive paints shop they have all the best stuff ... there's a Farecla G3 which is best to use after the cut/polish. Then there's a 3M finishing liquid. I'd love to get a small polisher but they cost a bit.

Don't worry, Weldon's decomposed granite will polish those planes right up.

I will have to check my medication refill dates and if I can push it out longer I may try 3 weeks or at least until the 3-4 of April.

Texas has awful prescription transfer laws for medications I'm on so I'm stuck her on refill dates every month. Screw Texas lol

I plan on it. the 20hr drive will be a challenge but i can't fly according to my neurosurgeon. He would be pissed if he found out i was leaving the area but talk about the chance of a lifetime to see such cool people in what i feel is the best hobby out there.
