I guess I assumed that if 70 minutes is an option it should be able to record 70 minutes without dying. I also thought I read that the battery should last two hours on a charge. I'm using a Sandisk 32gb card which is not on the list of known problem cards. Any thoughts?
A fully charged internal battery should provide 40 minutes, no more. Use an external pack if you want longer. Go to post #3 to get the information on recording longer.

yes. so far mine only go 35 minutes (all 3) on a charge. so thats about right in my experience. others report 40-43 minutes to a charge I guess it depends on lucky battery selection.

70 minutes is their because of 2 reasons.

people record using external power. and 70minutes is the limit "per file" without going over the nono limit of 4gb for a single file.

this is why when you select 10mbps 70min is greyed out.

Great video..
Good thing you have it centered... not sure what 30g would do to that tiny plane off center

You should get a few more... have a wing cam, nose cam, tail cam... That would make some awesome footage!

Very happy with my #16v2 D (wide angle) lens - the colour is just amazing. Wish this camera had been out half a year ago when I got my gopro, could have saved myself a couple hundred $!

Hmmm, your lens looks pretty out-of-focus (the only thing that seems to be in-focus is your lipo balance plug )

BTW, I don't think you're uploading 720p to YouTube (judging by the appearance of the date and time stamp on your other video you posted in this thread).

I did some editing with Microsoft Movie maker and added some music. Cut the video in half.

I think I understand.

With video out I see both letter boxing and pillow boxing. The bars left and right are small, but there. It's possible that some video displays hide the extra in the overscan area, but on my display its clearly visible. Probably just an oddity with t phe video generation circuitry.

I will post a picture this evening to show the effect.

Right now it's still a great value, but for fpv it would be the bomb if video out could be altered with either zoom or anamorphic to maximize the detail to the ground station.
