I'm with you Mark, those that can sculpt are a special breed.
Nice work, it certainly is looking "turkeyish"

Question about CG

I happen to have a TBM Avenger already built, with no plans with it. Could you please tell me where the CG is located?

I am planning to install a OS MAX 1.2 4C and it will fly (I hope) at Mexico City (7,200 feet high).

Regards,

Regards,
The plans show the CG at 41/2" back from the leading edge of the wing.

I've got the the upper fuselage skin is now on. Still a bit of filling and sanding to do, but it's at a point now that I can begin the lower fuselage construction.

Looks good Mark, but has there been any progress of late?

Just wanted you to know that I am still checking in on this build.
Looking good, but no new progress since April?

No recent progress. The fuselage has been glassed and is in the fill/sand stage. I'll pick up the build again in the fall.

Looks good, can't wait to see how it flies. We just had the CAF's Rocky Mountain wing's TBM-3a land at a local town celebration here at Delta, CO. It lands real slow and didn't use much runway. It is truly a BIG bird. Good luck.

Did any of you here than Skyshark have a IL2 Sturmovik coming to the market soon, 72" W/S I believe.

There is a thread on the website below, but you do need to be subscribed to see its content though:

Nice. Had that been available last year I'd probably be building it instead of the TBM.

How did you make room for your battery? What is the location on the plans? I am ordering the plane and want to be sure to take care of this ahead of time.

Also, how did you mount your motor?

Thanks so much-

Bob
