very nice,s6100021! do you have pan/tilt on your fpv cam?

btw, looks like a good placement for uhf antenna and vtx, think ill do the same as you. was planning on mounting the uhf antenna on the wing, but too much hassle when i'm detaching the wings.

Whats the stall speed on this guy?

Anyone got OSD info on minimal power to keep it afloat etc?

Also, are most of you doing the detachable wing thing?

if you glue the wings, you're gonna have a hard time finding a place to store it and you will need a car with lots of space :P wingspan of almost 2.2m
so it's not even an option in my book, the wings needs to be detachable, that's how its made.

Well the video above confirms the reasons why I won't mount my GoPro in the lower
pocket. Horizon *barely* in view at widest angle and showing maximum barrel distortion.
At 1080p 127 degree FoV, the horizon wouldn't be in view at all. If the camera is angled
up more, then underside of nose will be in view.
Does seem pretty stable, and didn't see the usual yaw oscillations, but also not a lot
of turbulence over a mostly flat desert. Will have to see how it handles flown
lower over more varied terrain.

i've bought some strong tape and covered the bottom, so it's pretty tough now.
although i always land on grass, never sand or any other rough surface

I land/crash into all sorts of things so thought i should add some extra strength to the nose and leading edge of the wing. I was going to fiberglass it but im too lazy

Fiberglass is brittle and is not ever useful for impact protection. I use clear vinyl hockey tape on
the leading edge of my EPO wings and sometimes on
the nose of planes. . Since hockey is probably not very big down there,
you might see if you can locate some form of sail repair tape. I found some locally
that is super strong and tear resistant. If you were to use a composite material
for impact protection, Kevlar cloth would be the appropriate choice.
