I have a few sky walkers now . What would be the difference going with a X8 wing for long distance fpv flights or faster or slower flying ??? Please help me out before I make the wright or wrong move ? Any Input would be very appreciated . Thanks

@ Rrated. Yes, a wing can fly slow and stable as long as its balanced properley, isnt overweight and it doesnt have design issues. Of course this is also true of any conventional aircraft.. If its built right, it will fly right. There are many videos here and on Youtube with guys doing slow fly-bys with all sorts of wings..

Wings have less moving parts which is a plus in my book.. think about this.. If you have a .40 size conventional trainer that has just say 700 sq inches of wing and weighs 5 lbs, and you also have a flying wing with the same wing area and same weight.. It still has the same wing loading but it has alot less drag which is another plus. Also, if you have say 19 oz/inch wingloading and you decrease the weight of the fuse and tail, you have just decreased your wing loading which is going to make it fly lighter but you still have the option to load up a payload bay.

What an awsome design for FPV. Love the size and sleekness, looks like a floater to a mean spead machine.
