Thanks Matt.
Now that i looked closer I also have a bit of wing damage as well. I guess it is something that happens at the factory or with the way it is packed.

Thanks for the observations. I will keep them in mind.

Hi guys as i was putting my my together yesterday and i noticed that the hole for the third antenna on the fuselage is to big not sure if its on purpose and am missing some plastic part or its some sort of manufacturing error the foam did not fill the form properly or something any one else experienced same problem ?

I was thinking of getting this one or the FMS 4S one that is larger. Is there anything that needs upgrading on this bird? I know the props are always out of stock however it looks like a very detailed plane.

I think it boils down to do you want a 1100MM Corsair or a 1430MM one. The Big one needs some simple mods but is 5.5 LBS. Of course being a Corsair I have to have them all LOL.

Going to Boil the Stock Prop

Okay, I'm going to experiment on boiling the stock props.

Used to do that with Heli and RC car parts in the past, when you had brittle plastic parts, putting them in boiling water for a couple of minutes changed the plastic to be more flexible.

Example, boiling Blade CX2 skids made them really durable. People worried about it changing the shape, but it doesn't.

So I have 2 replacement props that came in, I'm going to boil 1 set and do a bend by hand test to see if it's more flexible. On my original prop the bend by hand test broke a prop, I tried to maiden in grass and a tip over broke 2 blades and I broke the others by hand.

Let us know how it works out. This will be a lifesaver instead of hunting or waiting for 'out of stock' king....

Thanx.. I also have 3 on the way. Well 1 is shipped and I dont remember the purchase , while the other 2 are in backorder limbo...

If the plastic hardening process works I will be looking for a big pot.
