Hello lowkeylaidback,

We recommend using a 3 cell lipo with that combo.

This thread has been dead for a while, so I'm probably just talking to a wall here, but what kind of speed should be expected from the 64mm on 3s? 4s?

It depends on how much the plane weights, so it's sort of hard to say.

type of battery

battery info needed for detrum 64mm edf combo, such as "C" rating, number of cells and ??mah. more interested in lenght of flight rather than speed, but would like info for both speed and flight time.
want to install in 727, 50" w.s. approx 26-30 ounces including servos and rx

We recommend a 3S 40C pack to be used with the 64mm combo. The flight time will depend on the battery that you used, the Dynam A10 uses a similar setup with a lower KV motor and we got about 5 minutes of flight time on the jet.

Thanx RaidenCharlie for the fast response. Appreciate the assist... another two questions please, where can I purchase replacement rotors for this combo(will they be balanced), and in theory - the higher mah the longer flight time or two lower mah lipos in parallel.
yeah i'm a newbie to edf's and lipos.

Dynam doesn't sell the rotors for the combo at the moment, but the rotors from their EDF powered jets should work as well, so you can use the rotor from their A-10, and TurboJet. There's other manufactures that make makes the rotors for 64mm housings and you can use them as well. The higher of the MAH the longer the flight time, but that will also mean the bigger the battery. You can run the batteries in parallel but you'll have to bring weight and space into consideration.
