As long as megatech keeps the prices down it should be a decent plane. I'd definately use my own servos. If I do get a P51, though, it'll be from Robbe.

http://www.megatech.com/p510_mustang.html Just noticed this too. No radio gear -- you use your own -- but it comes with a geared ball bearing Speed 400.

Looks like they might start making some real planes.

Rick.

PS Biohazard, there is an indoor forum for the DJA Roadkills now.

Finally some hope!

I have been looking for some time for a 400 class P-51 that looks good and is able able to land at less than 1/2 throttle, hope this is it!

Saw this model mentioned briefly in the latest issue of backyard flyer but not much info. Hard to tell the quality of the model from small web photos.

If Megatech got this right they will be filling a gaping hole in e-flight availability for the P-51. Keep your fingers crossed.

If anyone has gotten their hands on one of these please fill us in!

I have been looking for a S400 P51 too. There are a few talked about in foamies, but not anything that got me too excited. This looks promising. I can fly my Zagi pretty well, so I figure I can fly anything. I have a feeling that is going to be a very expensive assumption...

It might not be too bad but $159 seems like allot for a foamie, especially from Megatech. I'd like to see some reports from those that have flown them. The Robbe P-51 is only $129 (unpainted)

There ya! go

This plane is not worthed I have seen it's maiden flight. The Hobby Town USA's manager a friend of mine has been flying glow pylon racers, heli's and sucessfully built and flew his E-planes mostly pylon racers too.

I for one is big fan and love to fly P-51's... For that price this plane can fly, but it's not all that, and will give you lot's of trouble.

For that price you can buy 3 GWS P-51

I have to agree, Megatech's P-51 cost too much and they're a little too late getting it out. Sadly a few newbies will probably buy the plane and be turned off Electric flying due to it's capabilities.
