Used hot glue. The 480 motor, and 11" prop made it tail heavy so added a canopy and extension to the front to stop it from being tail heavy. Used a 2200 mah battery. I thought it was going to be hard to hand launch Big Bird by myself but with about 3/4 throttle and a small heave she just flew gracefully away. She flies great. Ran three 2200mah batteries and a 1300mah. Full throttle and all I have to do is let go. Thanks for the design

Glad to hear of your success.

Buy the whole 50 feet...

You'll use it all and wonder where it went in no time.

Once you buddies see these things fly they will want one. And as easy as they are to build you can bang a couple out for your friends and it will pay for the entire stack foam. Also check out the "Snyder Fighter" variation. Awesome if you have a small car or some smaller equipment on hand.

People pay money to shoot paintball guns at them, with the proceeds going to charity. They take a a lot of abuse and watching the foam bits fly when they are hit is cool. The one in the pic looks like Swiss cheese

"Takes a likin and keeps on tickin" as the saying goes. Mine lost its battery on the third flight at SEFF this year and tumbled leaf like from about 100 feet. Minimium damage and could have flown with another battery immediatly after. Great design and a fun flyer.

Tru dat.....if you look close, you can actually see a paintball entering/leaving the foam just to the right side of the motor mount.

Swiss Cheeze indeed.
