I flew 4 packs today at lunch. December is what you get from it.

Yesterday I got the garage primed and painted and got some shelving up.

Today I'm priming and painting some pegboard and putting that up and possibly building a workbench or two.

Along with helping the wife with christmas decorations and cleaning house for her party tomorrow. At least it's windy today so the urge to go flying isn't as strong

Darren: Years ago the Renegades had an event going in which you flew your plane from inside a moving vehicle. Somebody else drove. We tried for some substantial distance. Several pilots achieved it. I wanted to, but never quite got the course, a driver, a spotter, my plane, and myself all arranged at the same time and place.

I suspect that flying similar distances using FPV from a fixed location would me MUCH easier than what we did back then.

Congratulations on your personal best record!

Whatcha askin Santa to bring ya this year?

I asked for a RiteWing Zephyr II. I plan to re-purpose the servos, BEC, spare ESC, batteries and motor from my burnt up Logo 500 and do it all up on 6S to give me something in the 100 mph range.

I checked out all the Logo electronics last night and it looks like the only electronics destroyed in the fire were the ESC and the battery!

I asked for Christmas and I have pre-ordered a UMX Hyper Taxi at Rick's. I've ordered 3 2s 180 mAH packs from HobbyCity to use with it since the balancing charger that comes with it is soooooo slow to charge and to balance the packs. Yes, I'll probably come up with another charge cable/adapter to be able to charge and balance the packs on at least one of my other chargers.

I know that they probably chose that balancing charger connector only (no separate standard power connector) in order to save weight. But I simply hate it when somebody introduces a new battery connector than I now need one or several adapters to use!
