unrelated: regarding the trim memory... the rudder trim is reset to neutral everytime the tx is restarted... all other channels have memory. guess that is why there was confusion before.
On a similar note: I have found the gyro to be very sensitive during initialization. it must be on a flat surface...unlike the SP which will hold well even if it initializes on your hands.
So the TX doesn't use the system of the Trex 100 TX, where you can unscrew the stick units from the outside, and switch these over to change modes?

Regarding Helicopcat's question of Mode 1/Mode 2 change:
There are no sockets like that of the TRex TX...so you will have to take apart the TX to change from mode 1 to mode 2. The complexity of doing so varies between transmitters and since I have not taken mine apart I do not know if it's possible (as there are no servo reversing functions on this Tx).
I have not seen anyone sell the V911 in mode 1 before...looks like it's all mode 2 (throttle on the left).

It seems they did rebuild the TX shell from scratch...

That's very inconvenient. On the other hand, I think you can get a spare Trex 100 TX cheap nowadays, considering how well it was received, and use that one, or a Turnigy TX. Switching modes on the Trex 100 TX means 8 screws loose and tighten again, after switching the stick units around. Not as easy as on the Solo Pro, where it only takes 1 single screw, but better than having to open up the TX shell, which can be tricky...

jameschen072,
The white one looks very good, maybe I'll get one too. Still did not get my black one.

helicopcat,
I think that you should not expect that this helicopter will have all the features of the brand ones (T100 / SP) - the manufacturers of the clones want to cut the price as much as they can, this is why they eliminate "luxury" features that will probably add to the price - they include only the "must have" or the cheap fetures.
I guess the price is also affected by the brand name...

And what kind of shipping method chosen?
The free shipping is a registered air mail, or air mail? They provide tracking number?

wallaguest1 Thanks.

Thanks.

Reviews of the site said pretty quick shipping from China.

Its so if you were selling for retail they will drop ship it to the person you sold it to and packaged as if t wasnt sold by them.

asanado is right... the money it would take to make the sticks interchangeable would probably raise the price significantly... then it wouldnt be competitive with the others...

and man, that heli is sure taking its time isn't it asanado? Haha... guess you'll just have to wait a little longer!

at the product discussion of HK, a guy said:

"Hobbyking rebrands this heli from V911. The real manufacture is the same as HK190. Because the HK190 binds with turnigy X9, I expect that this heli may also bind with the Turnigy 9X."

What?? v911 is manufacturer by WLtoys (wlmodel.com) and the HK190 (Xieda 9958) is made by Great Wall (greatwalltoys.com)
why people think they are made from same manufacturer?

Looks like HK190 is confirmed to be compatible with turnigy 9x, and its supposed to be compatible with v911 in case they are from same manufacturer but unless i am wrong, its not from the same manufacturer.

Also another guy purchased a "Mode 1" heli and he say in fact its a "Mode 3"! what the f...
this guy also said he didn't success to bind it to his 9x

any one have any idea about why the landing skids are not equal ? that way the heli will never be 100% flat at the surface.
the left one is never touching the surface but for 2 sens less spots.
