I think the V911 is WLToy's first 4Ch single rotor heli. They have lots of 3Ch before the V911.

ok guys
I have a question.
A co-worker here also have a v911 that he just got.
Well it crashed today, and now won't bind.

When the battery is plugged in, the light only blinks fast, for about 2 seconds, then steady on.

No slow blink and will not bind to anything.

Could also be the cylinrical crystal (?). Happened to me once. Got plenty of soldering practice replacing that thing.

Does he have it on a flat surface and the throttle all the way down? Put the battery in the Heli set it down then turn on the transmitter.

Is there any red light at all?

Is that the gyro? Where is it?

Doesn't matter if the transmitter is on or off. Once the battery is plugged in, it blinks for 2 seconds, then goes solid.

I also might have it backwards about the blinking speed.

mustangman, unfortunately the symptoms sound like what I experienced a few weeks back. Guru's here (Daryoon, etc) pin-pointed the problem to a bad crystal, the cylindrical thing near the bottom left center of the board (next to the retangular thing which I think is the gyro). If you are willing to bet that's what it is, take the old one out (along with the white silicone-stuff) and replace with one from another (bad) board. Other members have reported using generic crystals (16 MHz, as I recall), but you have to search the thread for the details.

Leave them there.
Cut the old wires off the old motor (close to motor).
Replace the motor, cut the new wires and splice them to the old.

Is that really the manufacturer's fault? How many hard crashes should a heli be able to withstand?

I'm not saying you shouldn't send it back, just asking a question.
