Let's get back on track discussing the V911 itself. I've got a couple questions to the guys who've been flying this heli already.

How much did you have to fiddle with the trim settings to get it to hover steady? It looks like there are trims for fore/aft, roll left/right (they call it "crab trim") and yaw left/right (they call it "direction trim").

Also, have you noticed the trims drifting at all during the flight?

What's the "speed trim" do? I'm assuming it's to change the range of the throttle stick (?).

my trim was pretty good out of the box i gave it a couple twist to shorten up the aileron servo arm as it was drifting slightly right, my tx trims stay centered expcept sometimes in the wind i put the elevator a little forward. every once in a while it needs a bit of tail trim but the gyro seems to do a pretty good job on its own, my biggest complaint about this heli is flybar strikes when flying aggressively in the wind, but other than that this thing is great, my poor 9958 hardly gets any attention now

Has anyone had one of these delivered in to the UK yet? Tempted to get one of these instead of the 9958 but concerned about it getting snagged at customs

Mine was ordered off ebay on 12/12. Advertised at 34.50 or best offer (inc postage), he accepted my offer of 30. Tracking number given but not much use, hoping to get today or tomorrow but could be up to the end of next week.

I've ordered lots of rc stuff from Hong Kong, the only time customs duty was added was when I tried to get an order of lipo's here quickly via express delivery.

No postage, 30 delivered. If you search v911 on ebay, go to listings for all international sellers, best deal is this 1 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-4CH-4-...item1c225a631e but I got from here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4CH-2-4GHz...item1e69411cb7

Banggood is/was cheapest at @26 delivered, but I haven't used before so went through ebay. Any probs with certification then I'll use ebay for the dispute but I don't expect it.

Just had mine delivered . Seems a nice little heli, had a quick go, not too bad for me (progressing from an IR co-axial) it's currently on charge but we're off for the wife's/baby's last scan before the due date so I'll have a play when I get back. 8yr old son seems to think it's 'well cool'

Well you can't argue with an eight year old

I hope all goes well with your new addition

Check the shipping charges ... no free shipping, so cost for USA becomes:

Shipping charge = USD $23.86 + $29.99 = $53.85.
Delivery Time: 10-30 days
Tracking: Yes
Insurance: Optional

Better put one in the cart and check the shipping charges if anyone is thinking of buying from there.

Banggood is still the best deal I've found so far.

I wouldn't worry about it ... the fake "CE" markings should throw the custom guys off.
