The receiver has a satellite, so it could be a V1, which is not compatible with the V2. In other words, it might not work with the V911.

just got my v911 today this thing is crazy responsive to cyclic compared to my 9958 just with the ff speed was a little better it doesnt do as well fighting wind as the 9958 does but still a great little bird regardless i noticed my ball links from the main blades were hitting my swash plate guide pin anyone else had this issue i seem to have resolved it but was just wondering if this is a common design flaw or if mine was special

I have been flying my V911 lately and noticed that when I try and get it into a hover it has this whirlybird affect, where-as the Helicopter goes around in a big floating circle. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Do you try with trim to correct this?

its called the toilet bowl effect... make sure all linkages move freely (everything above the swashplate) hope that works!

joshstreet09, The v911 like the Solo Pro is extremely responsive to cyclic control. That's why Solo Pro owners, when flying the 9958 for the first time brush off the stock 9958 as a cheap "clone." However, each bird definitely has it's strengths. And at the price of them, we can own both and have the best of both worlds.

Guys having issues, remember to check the Solo Pro FAQ thread that Solo Pro compiled. I am sure many of the mechanical fixes can be applied to the v911.

The head design of the v911, like it's Solo Pro brethren, means that TBE isn't usually any issue like it is with the mSR head design. If you have TBE, something is broken or out of place. Definitely check to make sure your flybar is freely teetering. Second, make sure the pivot pins are not broken. This is can break, and you may not notice it.

That is the module I have, and I use it to fly my GW-9958. It's a "V2" for sure, but I can't guarantee it will work with a 911, because I don't have a 911.

Yes, the module that comes with the Turnigy 9x uses the FlySky protocol. I believe internally, they are the same.
