Just ordered this new motor for the hell of it.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_s00_i00

Should come in fri-wednesday. I'm hoping this motor either spins at a higher rpm or has a pinion with more teeth as I don't know what to look up searching for pinion sizes
& pitch.

Are you saying that both 3 and 4 channel will function correctly? How does the binding process work?

Insert battery into heli, then turn on tx. If you want theory, then you probably need to search another thread.

thanks for the reply. I was not looking for theory, only instructions. I was lead to believe that it was more complicated.

Was down at the customs office again today, so the fleet has just grown by one . Reckon that's me going to stick with what I have meantime... at least til my H911 arrives

Waiting for a couple of spare parts at the moment. Spot the donor

I'm really digging the H911 clone. Flies great indoors in low rates. Mine is starting to develop a slight nose drift (rudder) to the right. I don't think I can mechanically trim a rudder drift, can I?

You can't mechanically trim it, but you can set a yaw input bias, so that when the control stick is centered, the heli interprets a preset yaw input (vs you having to hold the stick off centered). You do that by turning the (stock) tx on while holding the left stick right or left of center.

Just like it does for your other helicopter. The v911's are all the same, it's the controllers that are different. So using the brookstone controller will enable 3 channel mode with all of your v911's.

if I buy a RTF v922, can I use the controller that comes with it to fly a v911?

No, it's using another "native" protocol

Is the bravo sx tail boom set the right length And size. I wreck my boom trying to get the CA glue to break down to pull boom to change the tail motor. I'll solder at tail from now on . Although now the press fit of boom is real nice and tight ,no glue necessary with left over glue / carbon, that I couldn't scrape out.

So which one is your GO TO helicopter... "favorite"??? And why do you like it better? What are the flight characteristics compared to the others?

Just curious,,, I'm up to 3 now. I have a red, black/orange, and a lightning. Really want to get an H911. I flew one today and it was really nice. My lightning flies the best out of all mine.

My H911 arrived today, its a great heli. Very stable just like my V911. Very responsive just like my V911. Flies great just like my V911. The problem is it came with 130 mah batteries just like my V911.

The H911 product description on Amazon says the H911 comes with 180 mah batteries. My H911 came with the UC531136 batteries. The attached photo shows my V911 batteries on the left and my H911 batteries on the right. I sent them an email and I am hoping for the best.
