Prototype 2 axis small camera gimbal for sale (UK)
As in the title. Hopefully the picture shows it weighs 165g. The cameras in the picture are to give you a size reference. Obviously they are not included in the sale, nor are the scales or my kitchen work top.
Both axis have bearings on them, and both are driven by 2 Corona 939mg digital servos. Tilt axis can be direct drive or as currently set-up with servo horns and shock bands.
It is a prototype mount, meaning that although it is nicely CNC'd I have 'modified' it with my dremmel in a place or 2.
you will need 2 Y connectors to connect the servos per axis together, other than that is it complete and assembled.
£75 +post (UK preferred)
roll is about 25 degrees either side of horizontal so about 50degrees in total, tilt is perhaps about 100degrees total how it is currently configured, you can direct drive the tilt so it will give as much travel as the servo's allow which is good for looking directly at the ground.
The camera mount plate allows for a maximum width of 114mm in direct drive mode but this is reduced a bit either side when driving it from servo horns. maximum height would be 75mm.
130mm total height, 180mm total width including the side servo's
