Sailplane manual archive

I've responded to a couple requests for build manuals/instructions and thought it might be a good idea to have an archive for them.
I even started a thread about that here.
In the mean time I'll post my contributions in my blog.
Skies.

Kyosho Soarus Sports manual

Kyosho Soarus Sports mods

Don't even think of using the stock wing joiner. Make your own with ply,FG,& CF.
The OEM 550 motor weighs in around 7-1/2 oz. and is rated @ less than 200w.Go with a nice little 2-300watt brushless and a 2s Lipo (2000mah).
I opted to install separate servos for ailerons.Futaba S-133's fit in the same wing root area with minor trimming.
Skies.
Jay.

MPX Mini-Milan manual

This is the manual for the MPX Mini-Milan.
To provide good resolution the file has been split into 3 parts (RCG file size limits).

Yep, that's it. Mine has been built using the blade main spars and bowden cables to the ailerons and spoilers. Those cables are I suspect the reason for the light damage, we think the wings may have partly unplugged in flight. Can't be sure though, the glider came down looping and rolling and finally did an inverted flop on to the the runway after the canopy, nose weight and battery pack spat out of it (started this at around 500 feet).
I intend to fit servos in the wings, so the PDF manual will help show me what to expect inside the wing.
Thanks,
Martin

Your welcome Martin,
Your restoration would make a good thread in the scale forum.
Did your wings have the 'multi-locks' fitted? I have the DG-600,a newer model with wing servos & round wing rod.Never had a concern about the wings sliding off (rolls, sloping, general hot dogging).
