Because it my 2nd book - AND it pretty durn good - AND it answers a lot of the questions mostly frequently asked in this forum - AND it is written in an easy-to-read and understand question & answer format (with lots of pretty pictures) - AND I spent a heck of a lot of time writing it and don't do any good if I'm the only one reading it. Did I mention it was my 2nd book?

How do you get a copy? If you want the FREE sample (who doesn't want a free sample?) I'll send you one. No hitches - no hidden gotchas - it that easy - and it that good! You'll like it - ask Mikey!! Scratch your email address on this post and I'll send it to you. No worries about junk mail or spybots or stuff like like that - I'm just like you - only older - and will be mailing from my own email address.

If you prefer not to make your email public - write "I WANT A BOOK!!" on this post to alert me - and your email address in my message box. If you like it (you will) you can download the full version at LULU.COM (PDF file) It is also in the iBook and iNook store so you can download it to your iPad or Reader. Royalty wise - I would do better selling pencils on the street corner - but if I was trying to get rich I wouldn't be writing. Anybody wanna buy a pencil ?

I just found this thread, and when I saw the date I figured you were probably sold out.

Will I need to get a copy of the first book in order to completely grasp the subject?
THanks,
Don

Hi Jack,

I would also love a copy, I have run offroad on and off for the past 12 years and I'm kind of thinking about getting into Helis. At this point I have no idea of where to start. I'm thinking about starting with something small as my business has a 50 by 100 ft. second and third floor with 25 foot ceilings. I think I might have a better chance of not hitting something there rather than inside my home. I know this isn't the proper thread but what would you recomend for my first heli?

Thanks Pete

Hi Pete - thanks for your patience in getting your sample copy which you never got - I got furloughed in Berlin over the weekend. FAQs 102 on the way and should be at the arrival gate before you read this. On your question about which heli is the best to start? For indoor training - and a heck of a lot of fun - the fixed-pitch micros like the MSR and MSRx are more fun than should be allowed! If you have the room (sounds like you do) the 120SR gives you a little more heli (size wise) with the same flight characteristics. Excellent trainer and an ideal step before heading to the 450 hangar. Good luck - have a great read!

I'd love a copy as well. I'm now being tempted by the dark side Just picked up a 120 SR and I'm hooked.
