A recent question was asked if I could make the books available on Kindle along with the iBook store. Seems like a reasonable request - but there is a little bit of a hitch in the get-a-long. Kindle and Apple and Amazon all have their own formats and to submit a book to any of them requires it to be reformatted and submitted for their approval - which takes about 3 months by the time it is accepted. Now if you figures 1000-2000 hours to write a book - you'd be doing real good to make $1/hour - the cost of publication eats about half of that and distribution devours the other half. Which raises the question - why is there so little return writing an RC helicopter book? The answer is demographics. Most RC helicopters sold are toys - they last a week or two - break - and that's the end of the toy. Hobbyist are a different breed - they want to know - they want to learn. Unfortunately - those who start seldom last more than a few weeks and those who last are reluctant to spend any more money than they have to - especially on books!! In other words - for all practical purposes - there is NO readership! So why would anyone ever write a book for RC helicopters? Give me a minute - I'll think of something!! It has its own reward - AND ... ummmmmm - it has its own reward? Why are school teachers the lowest on the pay scale and baseball players highest? Well now- I can step up to the plate on that one!! Zipppppppppp - oooooops - STRIKE 3!! Wanna buy a book? To all those who have downloaded my books - thank you for making me feel good inside. If this the first time you heard about it or read about it or wondered about it - wonder no more!! All you need do is scratch your email address on this post or in my msg box and I'll capJaX you a sample copy of FAQs 101 (for coaxials) or 102 if you graduated coaxial school and ready to climb aboard single rotors. You can even have both if you not sure which one to start with. Have a great read and great training - that's what they were written for!!

I would like and can really use a copy. After 30 years of planes I have switched to helis and am finding although they both fly they are not even close to the same. Thanks Butch

Hi Capt. Jack,
I'm relatively new to this and I'm flying a MsrX with one hand and with a lot of trouble. I hope your book helps. Thank you.

FYI you can transfer the book to Kindle Format, then sell it using PayPal or whatever and then e-mailing the file to each purchaser if they chose a Kindle option. Then you pretty much bypass anything.
