Yes, the yellow nice. The aircraft in the right hand picture isn't a Pitts 12 though, it's a Pitts S2B

You are absolutely right, but the color scheme is the same; Canadian acrobatic team.

Hobbyking Pitts 12

I saw a Hobbyking Daily Prevue of a Pitts 12

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...rvos_ARF_.html

HobbyKing Daily - Pitts (1 min 33 sec)

I think it is the same Starmax built Plane with With and red scheme Striped instead of checkered.
Specs:
Wingspan: 1600mm
Length: 1490mm
Flying Weight: 4500g
Servo: 9g x 4, 40g x 2
Motor: 5060 390kv Brushless Outrunner

Requires:
Your Own 6 Channel TX/RX
100A~120A ESC
UBEC
3700mAh~4500mAh 6s Lipoly Battery

$220 with preferred pricing at $209. Add a ESC 100-120 Amp $30-$60, Great deal but no shipping to USA. Too Big. That will added a few$$$ if it comes to the US warehouse.

Banana Hobby at $319+ ARF landed in CA + shipping $50.

very similar to Starmax but should be a X-UAV:

...misterious stuff from Shenzen, rebranded models, ???

They are all three the same. Hobbyking lists 4500g vs banana 3500g that is a big difference. 5000mah 6S is that 1 kilo?

I like the yellow over the red and white. 390kv with 3 blade, 2 40g servos in the tail is same.
Pretty cool planes.

I think that this is the fact, the pictures in the manual shows a plane with the "Banana Hobby"-scheme, and follows the same layout as the manuals I've got with other Starmax planes.

My plane arrived in Norway today at a total cost of 320 usd including a 125A ESC, 5A UBEC and shipping. Not bad at all Very curious of what the flying weight will end up at...

Kai,
Thanks for weighing in. I'm very interested in this plane but it's seeing very little traffic. I am eager to hear your thoughts on quality and flight characteristic. $320 is a good chunk of cash and we appreciate you pioneering in the forum on this plane.

I've had mine awhile :)

I've had mine since early December. It's all ready to go. The only thing I didn't like about the build is that every screw was a real bitc_ to turn in! I drilled every receiving hole one bit size up!
I haven't flown for over 15 years so I've been flying a couple Parkzones... SE 5 and the Spit Mk IX to get used to the sticks again. Also been flying the Dynam PBY.
I ordered different connectors for the ESC and batteries and they'll be here mid next week then this beauty of a bipe will be ready for her maiden

I saw your line on the Pitts python. I'm interested to hear your thoughts. I would be itching to get out there if this was waiting in my basement.

How does the wing come off for transport? I fear it may not fit in my car.
