That box looks big enough to hold 2 planes. My guess is a Hipo Tipo and a Curare but based upon the wood grain pattern my guess might be off a bit.

You owe me a rev-up prop, however, since my scorpion wont like it, send it to Kevin for me.

Nope... you have to give the correct name of the plane.

Eric,

how many George's inside - one or two?

We need a scale reference. Also, I assume we're guessing classic - correct?

Not so fast... Tennessee is right, ya' gotta name it. I knew the sharp ones on here would figure out which plane it was but we still have to figure out what it is.

I'm going to take this thread from I.D.ing it all the way thru maiden. I'll get a bunch of pics and measurements posted in the next few days. The workmanship is amazing. And I can't believe the condition, just nicks on the corners. It's gotta be 30 years old and brand new.

I've got some camera phone pics I'll post here in a minute as soon as I can get my wife off the computer.

Doug, you deserve something. I've got a sticker for your Scorpion I'll send you.

I never thought to google to stupid N number before. I Googled N236K and it belongs to a CA based Gypsy Moth. Google the N number to get the name of the airport and owner's name (as of 2009 at least). Perhaps someone out there can try to contact him and see if he knows anything about this pattern ship.

Matches the Car

You have to love a plane that matches the colour of the car.
