Just curious as the Helix looked like the Black Cannon but that's a 12.5dbi antenna so anyways.

Always a good idea to list manufacturer it should help you sell it a little easier. That was all.

Thanks. I should have included that info in the original post.

When I looked on the website, I didn't see any Skew-planar wheel antennas in 900mhz only the Helix receiver antenna is offered on that frequency. Are you certain these skew-planar wheels are for 900mhz?

I'm not sure why these are no longer listed. I am certain these are for 900mHz. Here is the email confirmation I received:

Does this antenna have to be pointed in the direction of the plane like a patch antenna or does it just sit like in the picture and give a 360 degree reception like a rubber ducky antenna? I couldn't find a definite answer on their website. Thanks

In the picture it's just sitting on my countertop, but when in use it's mounted like a patch antenna. It has a beam width of 75 degrees. I actually tested it after I made the original post and went to almost 11,000' LOS using a 1500mw transmitter. Picture was awesome. It also did exceptionally well during aerobatics. I was very happy with the performance, but I'm going to stick with my linear polarization setup for now.
